An Excellent Parade U.S. Army! Now time to transform and probably shrink a bit
Time for a real transformation - which may include shedding size and missions
Yes, the Army is the senior Service - but there’s nothing in the Constitution that says it must be the largest Service. I am very proud of my Army time - but in the end, I am Purple and a Professional. The mission set is intuitively and from the Trump Administration, Pacific focused. Therefore Army needs to adapt.
This means the “Supported Services” are the Navy, the Air Force, and the new Department of the Coast Guard. All the other Services are “Supporting”. I suggest five core missions for Army to focus on.
All other capabilities are divisted. Unlike other downsizings, I would propose a complete transfer of mission, units, and personnel from the U.S. Army to the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
“But I didn’t join those Services, I joined the Army”. Well, we’ve heard the terms “the needs of the Services and the Nation”? Time to be flexible and realize your service is still needed, it just may be in another Service.

A great article, which I sent out to my Patriots List. Thanks! Blessings.
