A diversion force B-2 had to divert to Hawaii
Despite heroic maintenance work by the ground crews, things do break.
The real story of the B-2 is the incredible work of the Enlisted Airmen and Officers who work endlessly to keep 19 remaining B-2s flying. It is an endless job and the overlooked part of airpower. The pilots are very important, but they wouldn’t be over the target if it was not for the large force of maintainers to keep these babies flying.
