The F-22 Raptor is an incredible aircraft. But it is getting old and there’s not many - that’s why the F-47 is coming along.
A loyal wingman is coming into service to provide the companionship the F-22 needs while flying deterrence combat air patrols in the Western Pacific.
The Chinese are doing the same with their advanced fighter/strike aircraft such as the J-36 and J-50.
The F-22 is receiving the Collaborative Combat Aircraft to help create a wolfpack around each F-22. The Artificial Intelligence enabled CCA, is a supersonic smart drone that can help sense, alert, and engage around the F-22.
F-22 pilots are now receiving tablets to help implement the loyal wingman capability.

You know, I don’t really get it. We have other aircraft that are older, that have been updated to current standards. What is it about the F-22 that keeps the air force from doing that?
