This may be a first - period.
The U.S. Army used a long range “ATACMS” missile to hit and sink an Iranian submarine.
I frankly cannot think of a precedent in U.S. Military History, or world history where a submarine was hit and destroyed by a long range, land based missile (or even artillery fire).
“Artillery Soldiers and Marines are "sinking ships, destroying depots, and launching Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS," and "Precision Strike Missiles, or PrSMs," Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in a Friday press briefing.
This is extraordinary and shows the extraordinary targeting dominance on Iranian targets.

Great news that we all can celebrate! Watch out for the Chyneez to supply the Moolahs // Klerics // Eye-O-Tallas with their weaponry. Also, I heard on the news that the new incoming Eye-O-Talla might be a little light-n-slippers as well as might be missing a leg too. If it’s not the right or left leg, could this mean he’s officially transitioning with a missing center leg? Just imagine if this new Eye-O-Talla striking a deal, selling a vast amount of assets to the Chyneez, and relocating to SF … strutting around in the defected streets with his brothers-n-arms, wearing the azzless Iranian robes!
